Automation & Motorization
Extensive Experience with Multiple Home Automation Systems & Companies
Motorizing your window treatments used to mean you had to have a power supply to each window, which made it hard if not impossible for some home owners to be able to motorize their window treatments. Well not anymore! Tatterdemalion Inc. has been motorizing window treatments for over 20 years. We have options that are battery operated, solar powered or direct plug in, making motorized window treatments possible for every client! We work directly with such companies as Lutron, BTX and Somfy making it possible for us to integrate seamlessly with most home automation systems. If you are doing a "New Build" or "Remodel" we can spec all the electrical requirements for your contractor and prefer to do so. This guarantees that we have the appropriate power supply in place for your particular treatments.

Conrads, Hartman & Forbes and Custom Iron Hardware
Being a "Full Service" Sewing Workroom and Studio means Full Service at Tatterdemalion Inc. We have our own exclusive line of Custom Iron Hardware that is far superior to any mass produced iron hardware in reliability, sturdiness, aesthetics and it can be spec'd to the color of your choice. In addition we also realize that not every project calls for drapery. Adding texture to a room through the use of Grass Shades can be a great way to go. In keeping with our level of quality we offer the full line of both Conrads and Hartman & Forbes Woven Woods as well as several other brands, all of which can be motorized. We also have unlimited access to high quality Sun Screens, all of which can be motorized as well. Does your project also call for a little bit of fabric to soften it up, we are now offering Panel Track Draperies' that are made to order and are simple and easy to use.
